بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَنِي فَهُوَ يَهۡدِينِ

Alladhī khalaqanī fa-huwa yahdīn.

Who created me, and He [it is who] guides me."26:78"

وَٱلَّذِي هُوَ يُطۡعِمُنِي وَيَسۡقِينِ

Wa-alladhī huwa yuṭʿimunī wa yasqīn.

And it is He who feeds me and gives me drink."26:79"

وَإِذَا مَرِضۡتُ فَهُوَ يَشۡفِينِ

Wa-idhā mariḍtu fa-huwa yashfīn.

And when I am ill, it is He who cures me "26:80"

وَٱلَّذِي يُمِيتُنِي ثُمَّ يُحۡيِينِ

Wa-alladhī yumītunī thumma yuḥyīn.

And who will cause me to die and then bring me to life "26:81"

وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَطۡمَعُ أَن يَغۡفِرَ لِي خَطِيٓـَٔتِي يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ

Wa-alladhī aṭmaʿu an yaghfira lī khaṭī'atī yawma ad-dīn.

And who I aspire that He will forgive me my sin on the Day of Recompense."26:82"

رَبِّ هَبۡ لِي حُكۡمٗا وَأَلۡحِقۡنِي بِٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

Rabbi hab lī ḥukman wa alḥiqnī biṣ-ṣāliḥīn.

"My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the righteous."26:83"

وَٱجۡعَل لِّي لِسَانَ صِدۡقٖ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

Wa-jʿal lī lisāna ṣidqin fil-ākhirīn.

And grant me a mention [i.e., reputation] of honor among later generations."26:84"

وَٱجۡعَلۡنِي مِن وَرَثَةِ جَنَّةِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

Wa-jʿalnī min warathati jannatin-naʿīm.

And place me among the inheritors of the Garden of Pleasure."26:85"

وَٱغۡفِرۡ لِأَبِيٓ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

Wa-ghfir li-abī innahu kāna minaḍ-ḍāllīn.

And forgive my father. Indeed, he has been of those astray."26:86"

وَلَا تُخۡزِنِي يَوۡمَ يُبۡعَثُونَ

Wa lā tukhzinī yawma yubʿathūn.

And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected -"26:87"

يَوۡمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٞ وَلَا بَنُونَ

Yawma lā yanfaʿu mālun wa lā banūn.

The Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children "26:88"

إِلَّا مَنۡ أَتَى ٱللَّهَ بِقَلۡبٖ سَلِيمٖ

Illā man atā Allāha biqalbin salīm.

But only one who comes to Allāh with a sound heart."26:89"

It is one of the most profound passages to recite and reflect upon regularly.

These verses contain one of the most comprehensive Qur'anic Supplications, including requests for:

Guidance from Allah.

Sustenance and healing.

Forgiveness.

Wisdom (ḥukm).

Righteous companionship.

A good reputation among future generations.

Inheritance of Paradise.

Forgiveness for one's father (before Ibrāhīm knew his father's persistent disbelief).

Protection from disgrace on the Day of Resurrection.

A sound and pure heart (qalb salīm), the only thing that will truly benefit a person before Allah.

رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَآ أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَـسِرِينَ

Rabbanā ẓalamnā anfusanā wa in lam taghfir lanā wa tarḥamnā lanakūnanna mina al-khāsirīn.

"Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us and have mercy upon us, we will surely be among the losers." "7:23"

This dua teachers the believers to:

Acknowledge their own shortcomings.

Seek Allah's forgiveness without making excuses.

Ask for His mercy.

Recognize that true success depends entirely on Allah's forgiveness and mercy.

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغۡ قُلُوبَنَا بَعۡدَ إِذۡ هَدَيۡتَنَا وَهَبۡ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحۡمَةًۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡوَهَّابُ

Rabbanā lā tuzigh qulūbanā baʿda idh hadaytanā wa hab lanā min ladunka raḥmah. Innaka anta al-Wahhāb.

"Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Ever-Bestowing.""3:8"

ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡحَيُّ ٱلۡقَيُّومُۚ

Allāhu lā ilāha illā Huwa, Al-Ḥayyu Al-Qayyūm.

لَا تَأۡخُذُهُۥ سِنَةٞ وَلَا نَوۡمٞۚ

Lā ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa lā nawm.

لَّهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ

Lahu mā fis-samāwāti wa mā fil-arḍ

مَن ذَا ٱلَّذِي يَشۡفَعُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِهِ

Man dhā alladhī yashfaʿu ʿindahu illā bi-idhnih.

يَعۡلَمُ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡۖ

Yaʿlamu mā bayna aydīhim wa mā khalfahum,

وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيۡءٖ مِّنۡ عِلۡمِهِۦٓ إِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَۚ

wa lā yuḥīṭūna bishay'in min ʿilmihi illā bimā shā.

وَسِعَ كُرۡسِيُّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَۖ

Wasiʿa kursiyyuhu as-samāwāti wal-arḍ,

وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفۡظُهُمَاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيُّ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

wa lā ya'ūduhu ḥifẓuhumā, wa Huwa Al-ʿAliyyu Al-ʿAẓīm.

"Allah—there is no deity worthy of worship except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Kursī extends over the heavens and the earth, and preserving them does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.""2:255"

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِى صَدْرِى

Rabbi ishraḥ lī ṣadrī.

"My Lord, expand my chest for me."20:25"

وَيَسِّرْ لِى أَمْرِى

Wa yassir lī amrī.

Ease my task for me. "20:26"

وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِّن لِّسَانِى

Waḥlul ʿuqdatan min lisānī.

Untie the knot from my tongue, "20:27"

يَفْقَهُواْ قَوْلِي

Yafqahū qawlī.

So that they may understand my speech.""20:28"

رَبِّ ٱجۡعَلۡنِي مُقِيمَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِيۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلۡ دُعَآءِ

Rabbi ijʿalnī muqīmaṣ-ṣalāti wa min dhurriyyatī. Rabbanā wa taqabbal duʿā'

"My Lord, make me one who establishes prayer, and [also] from my descendants. Our Lord, accept my supplication.

رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَلِوَٰلِدَيَّ وَلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ يَوۡمَ يَقُومُ ٱلۡحِسَابُ

Rabbanā-ghfir lī wa li-wālidayya wa lil-muʾminīna yawma yaqūmu al-ḥisāb.

Our Lord, forgive me, my parents, and the believers on the Day when the Reckoning is established." "14:40-41"

رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الاٌّخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Rabbanā ātinā fid-dunyā ḥasanah, wa fil-ākhirati ḥasanah, wa qinā ʿadhāban-nār.

"Our Lord, grant us good in this world, and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire." "2:201"

وَأَدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَ مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ

Wa adkhilnā al-jannata maʿa al-abrār.

And admit us into Paradise with the righteous.

يَا عَزِيزُ يَا غَفَّارُ

Ya Azzez o Ya Gaffar

يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Yā Rabba al-ʿĀlamīn

رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقۡتَ هَٰذَا بَٰطِلٗا سُبۡحَٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ

Rabbanā mā khalaqta hādhā bāṭilan. Subḥānaka faqinā ʿadhāban-nār.

"Our Lord, You have not created this in vain. Glory be to You! So protect us from the punishment of the Fire. "3:191"

رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ مَن تُدۡخِلِ ٱلنَّارَ فَقَدۡ أَخۡزَيۡتَهُۥۖ وَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِنۡ أَنصَارٖ

Rabbanā innaka man tudkhilin-nāra faqad akhzaytah, wa mā liẓ-ẓālimīna min anṣār.

"Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit into the Fire, You have truly disgraced. And for the wrongdoers there are no helpers." "3:192"

رَّبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا سَمِعۡنَا مُنَادِيٗا يُنَادِي لِلۡإِيمَٰنِ أَنۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِرَبِّكُمۡ فَـَٔامَنَّاۚ

Rabbanā innanā samiʿnā munādiyan yunādī lil-īmāni an āminū bi-Rabbikum fa-āmannā.

"Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller calling to faith, saying, 'Believe in your Lord,' so we have believed." "3.193-Part a"

رَبَّنَا فَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرۡ عَنَّا سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ

Rabbanā faghfir lanā dhunūbanā wa kaffir ʿannā sayyi'ātinā wa tawaffanā maʿa al-abrār.

"Our Lord, forgive us our sins, remove from us our evil deeds, and cause us to die among the righteous." "3:193-Part b"

رَبَّنَا وَءَاتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخۡزِنَا يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۖ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخۡلِفُ ٱلۡمِيعَادَ

Rabbanā wa ātinā mā waʿadtanā ʿalā rusulika wa lā tukhzinā yawma al-qiyāmah. Innaka lā tukhliful-mīʿād.

"Our Lord, grant us what You promised us through Your messengers, and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You never break Your promise."

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغۡ قُلُوبَنَا بَعۡدَ إِذۡ هَدَيۡتَنَا وَهَبۡ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحۡمَةًۚ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡوَهَّابُ

Rabbanā lā tuzigh qulūbanā baʿda idh hadaytanā wa hab lanā min ladunka raḥmah. Innaka anta al-Wahhāb.

"Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from Yourself. Indeed, You are the Ever-Bestowing.""3:8"

اللْهُمَّ لَا قَابِضَ لِمَا بَسَطْتَ وَلَا بَاسِطَ لِمَا قَبَضْتَ،

وَلَا هَادِيَ لِمَنْ أَضْلَلْتَ

وَلَا مُضِلَّ لِمَنْ هَدَيْتَ،

وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ

وَلَا مُقَرِّبَ لِمَا بَاعَدْتَ، وَلَا مُبَاعِدَ لِمَا قَرَّبْتَ

للْهُمَّ ابْسُطْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ بَرَكَاتِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ وَفَضْلِكَ وَرِزْقِكَ،

للْهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إِلَيْنَا الْإيمَانَ وَزَيِّنْهُ فِي قُلُوبِنَا وَكَرِّهْ إِلَيْنَا الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الرَّاشِدِينَ

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ...

لَّاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّاۤ اَنْتَ سُبْحٰنَكَ ۖ اِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ

رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا

رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْعَفْوَ وَالْعَافِيَةَ فِي دِينِي وَدُنْيَايَ وَأَهْلِي وَمَالِي

اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي

وَاحْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي وَعَنْ يَمِينِي وَعَنْ شِمَالِي وَمِنْ فَوْقِي

وَأَعُوذُ بِعَظَمَتِكَ أَنْ أُغْتَالَ مِنْ تَحْتِي

لَّاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّاۤ اَنْتَ سُبْحٰنَكَ ۖ اِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ الْأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَالْأَمْوَاتِ

يَا مُجِيبَ الدَّعَوَاتِ، يَا مُنْزِلَ الْبَرَكَاتِ، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ،

يَا عَزِيزُ يَا غَفَّارُ، يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

رَبِّ هَبۡ لِي مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ عَٰلِمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِۖ هُوَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱلۡقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَٰمُ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُ ٱلۡمُهَيۡمِنُ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡجَبَّارُ ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرُۚ سُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقُ ٱلۡبَارِئُ ٱلۡمُصَوِّرُۖ لَهُ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُ ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰۚ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

هُوَ ٱلۡأَوَّلُ وَٱلۡأٓخِرُ وَٱلظَّٰهِرُ وَٱلۡبَاطِنُۖ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيۡءٍ عَلِيمٌ

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ مِنْ هَمْزِهِ وَنَفْخِهِ وَنَفْثِهِ

رَبَّنَآ أَتْمِمْ لَنَا نُورَنَا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَآ إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

رَبَّنَا هَبۡ لَنَا مِنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّٰ تِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعۡيُنٖ وَٱجۡعَلۡنَا لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا

رَبَّنَآ إِنَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

وَوَصَّيۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ بِوَٰلِدَيۡهِ إِحۡسَٰنًاۖ حَمَلَتۡهُ أُمُّهُۥ كُرۡهٗا وَوَضَعَتۡهُ كُرۡهٗاۖ وَحَمۡلُهُۥ وَفِصَٰلُهُۥ ثَلَٰثُونَ شَهۡرًاۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُۥ وَبَلَغَ أَرۡبَعِينَ سَنَةٗ

قَالَ رَبِّ أَوۡزِعۡنِيٓ أَنۡ أَشۡكُرَ نِعۡمَتَكَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ وَٰلِدَيَّ وَأَنۡ أَعۡمَلَ صَٰلِحٗا تَرۡضَىٰهُ وَأَصۡلِحۡ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِيٓۖ إِنِّي تُبۡتُ إِلَيۡكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ

اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْنِي الْجَنَّةَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنَا مِنَ النَّارِ

يَا مُجِيرُ يَا مُجِيرُ يَا مُجِيرُ

اللَّهُمَّ السَّلَامَةَ اللَّهُمَّ السَّلَامَةَ اللَّهُمَّ السَّلَامَةَ

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُخْزِنِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُخْزِنِي مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تُخْزِنِي مَعَ الْقَوْمِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ

اللَّهُمَّ أَبْعِدْنِي عَنِ الْقَوْمِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النِّفَاقِ

رَبِّ ابْنِ لِي عِندَكَ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ رَبِّ ابْنِ لِي عِندَكَ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ رَبِّ ابْنِ لِي عِندَكَ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ النَّارِ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ مَوْتَانَا اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ مَوْتَانَا اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْ مَوْتَانَا

اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي إِذَا مِتُّ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي إِذَا مِتُّ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي إِذَا مِتُّ

اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِنِي إِذَا مَرِضْتُ اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِنِي إِذَا مَرِضْتُ اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِنِي إِذَا مَرِضْتُ

اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِنِي اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِنِي اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِنِي

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ، شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا

قُلۡ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحۡيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُۥۖ وَبِذَٰلِكَ أُمِرۡتُ وَأَنَا۠ أَوَّلُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ

إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ شَٰهِدٗا وَمُبَشِّرٗا وَنَذِيرٗا

لِّتُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُعَزِّرُوهُ وَتُوَقِّرُوهُۚ وَتُسَبِّحُوهُ بُكۡرَةٗ وَأَصِيلًا

لَقَدۡ جَآءَكُمۡ رَسُولٞ مِّنۡ أَنفُسِكُمۡ عَزِيزٌ عَلَيۡهِ مَا عَنِتُّمۡ حَرِيصٌ عَلَيۡكُم بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ رَءُوفٞ رَّحِيمٞ

فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡاْ فَقُلۡ حَسۡبِيَ ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُۖ وَهُوَ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ
