Supplication for the Expiation of a Gathering (Kaffārat al-Majlis)

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ

Subḥānaka Allāhumma wa biḥamdika, ash-hadu an lā ilāha illā anta, astaghfiruka wa atūbu ilayk.

"Glory is to You, O Allah, and all praise is Yours. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except You. I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You.". "Sunan Abī Dāwūd (no. 4859), Jāmiʿ at-Tirmidhī (no. 3433)"

Aisha RA said "the Messenger of Allah would not sit in a sitting, nor recite Qur'an nor pray a prayer except that he would end it with certain words

She said: "So I said: O Messenger of Allah, I see that you do not sit in a sitting nor recite Qur'an nor pray a prayer except that you end with these words

The Messenger of Allah said "Yes, whoever said anything good, a seal is placed upon that good for himand whoever said any evil, it is expiation for him"
